Abrasive Blasting is the first key step to preparing steel for the application of coatings and the most effective method for the removal of mill scale, rust and old coatings. There are a number of abrasives that Stella utilise including:

• Bi Carb

• Vacuum

 

The preparation grade suitable for a particular coating specification depends on a number of

factors such as:

 

• Quality of Steel

• Ambient Condition

• Excessive Profile

• Lack of Profile

• Rust Grade
